AZTech IT are seeking a customer focused, experienced, and preferably certified 1st/2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to join our Service Delivery team in Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate will be part of our first response teams and will ensure that our customers receive an excellent and consistent service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1st/2nd Line Support

Responsibilities

  • Providing efficient and effective customer service to end users and other stakeholders

  • Acting as the first point of contact for technical service requests

  • Logging and maintaining support issues detail throughout a service ticket lifecycle

  • Responding appropriately to more complex problems through escalation

  • Prioritisation and management of workload to ensure client SLAs are met

  • Supplying a high standard of customer service in line with AZTech IT’s standards

  • Owning, managing, and resolving incidents, completing requests and change requests in line with our SLA’s

  • Delivering against our KPI’s

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement both technically and in processes

  • Work in accordance with company values, policies, procedures and standards

Skills and Attributes Required

  • 1-2 years demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Clear and confident communicator at all levels and abilities
  • A proven problem solver
  • Able to deliver and troubleshoot complex technical solutions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Adaptable & flexible
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills

Good Technical Knowledge in:
  • Office 365
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • Windows 10
  • Networking

Basic Technical Knowledge in:
  • Hypervisor
  • Azure / Office 365
  • vSphere
  • SharePoint
  • OSx Operating Systems
  • Firewalls
  • PC & Server hardware

Required Qualifications / Certifications
  • MCSA

Desired Qualifications / Certifications
  • ITIL Foundation
  • MCITP: Server Administrator or MCSE: Windows Server
  • CCNA

  • Annual Salary depending on experience and accreditations

  • 24 Days Holiday

  • The hours of work are 40 per week. Applicants must be flexible to work additional hours to fulfil the requirements of the job role
