Being an IT solutions provider means taking on a great deal of responsibility, especially because in this high-tech age, it is companies like Aztech who keep small businesses around the UK running. Every business has its different needs and requirements which providers like us must address. So one of the biggest challenges is to stay ahead of the curve, and adapt to a world of ever-changing technology so that we can offer the best IT solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

Here at Aztech, we are constantly striving to offer small-to-medium businesses personalised IT services they can rely on. This ongoing drive for constant improvement means we’ve recently been awarded the highly coveted CompTIA IT Business Trustmark – which places us among the top IT solutions providers in the UK.

What is the CompTIA IT Business Trustmark?

The CompTIA IT Business Trustmark is only given to IT companies which demonstrate that they use only trusted and high quality IT business practices – companies that maintain the high standards set by the IT industry and CompTIA themselves. It is IT companies such as Aztech, which have been granted the trustmark, who are the ones which maximise the benefits of investing in their technology through sound business practices and high quality services.

Why is being CompTIA Accredited a big deal?

The CompTIA Business Trustmark Accreditation is not just any accreditation. Being the voice of the world’s IT community, it is CompTIA that sets the quality and standards which any high calibre IT solutions providers need to meet. So having been granted this trademark, companies like Aztech have been recognized as being among those who meet and exceed the industry’s best practices.

Over the past few years, using CompTIA’s business credentials, programmes events and certifications, we have been able to improve every area of Aztech’s business. From the skills, training and practices of our IT specialists to our policies, procedures and other value added propositions – we have achieved greater stability and recognition.

It is through these experiences that we have been able to develop better solutions for the businesses we serve here in the UK. These solutions allow almost anyone to use existing or new technology in a way that will improve the profits, enhance productivity and most importantly, keep all your computer systems and data secure.

Sean Houghton Aztech’s (Operations Director) said, “We are thrilled to be recognised by CompTIA for our achievements and services and are committed to offering our clients, current and future, services and solutions that will help their businesses get the most out of technology while keeping costs down.”

Why work with a Trustmark holder?

Simply put, a company that can boast the CompTIA IT Business Trustmark has proven it offers the highest standards of IT service. This means we have have the ability to provide support that businesses can trust, either in a crisis or their day-to-day operations. When you are dealing with a Trustmark holder you enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing that your computers and business tech are being looked after by competent and reliable IT engineers and staff.

The staff here at Aztech feel great pride in being given this recognition as a high-calibre IT solutions provider, and we would like to thank everyone at CompTIA for recognizing our hard work and passion for IT development. Our current and future clients can be assured that Aztech will continue to offer the best solutions for small, medium and large scale companies and we’ll strive to be among the best in the business for many years to come.

The 60 second interview…

Dean Sartin
Service Delivery Manager

How Did you first get in to IT?
After 10 years working within the building industry, and being the unofficial IT geek who had to fix everything, I decided to go to University and make it official (An IT engineer that is, not a geek!)

Favourite Film of all time? Or one you have watched recently?
Ravenous – a hidden gem backed up by a great soundtrack

Recent achievements outside of work?

After being entered in the inaugral MK marathon for ‘Team Aztech’, I rediscovered running and now as well as running 25 miles a week, I compete weekly in 5k races, and am breaking my PB times on a regular basis

Recent achievement at work?

Other than getting Rob to make the drinks, it would have to be passing my recent batch of Microsoft Exams

Last track you downloaded?

Cut Copy – Blink And You’ll Miss A Revolution

Favourite restaurant ?

The Frog and Onion, Bermuda

Any good little tech tips for clients?
De-clutter your email inbox, and archive older emails. Don’t use the deleted folder for storage (a big no-no), but empty it on a regular basis – it is not always easy to fetch back emails that had been stored in the deleted folder. Email applications can become very big and can slow down overtime so keeping them clear of un-necessary emails will help keep the PC running more quickly.

Gold Stars For Aztech ITAztech Score High With Client Satisfaction Surveys!

We recently switched on client satisfaction surveys to measure the performance of our helpdesk services against our competitors.

Our PSA & Ticketing system Autotask is the world number 1 hosted software solution and is used by tens of thousands of IT professionals all over the world . When Autotask integrated client satisfaction surveys with a feature to benchmark your results against other users of Autotask we were intrigued to know how we faired up against the competition.
So far the results have been excellent. We always knew we provided a good service but it was good to hear it from our clients too.

How it works…
The surveys are sent to end users when we complete work on a support issue. The user is then sent an email and asked 5 questions. The user can then give a score of 1 to 5 on how happy they were with the way the issue was dealt with.
